Kforce's client, a fast growing, NJ-based tech firm is seeking a VP Controller. In this demanding and rewarding role, you will report to the CFO and work closely with a talented team of CPA’s and accounting professionals. The position offers unlimited professional challenges and a very competitive compensation package which includes equity. A hybrid work schedule is available.

• CPA
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience (public and private, with a preference for a combination)
• Experience with Financial Reporting and SEC Compliance, including preparation of detailed financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in compliance with SEC, FASB, and PCAOB regulations; handling Form 10-K and 10-Q filings and XBRL issues
• Deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and key principles across finance and accounting areas
• Superior technical accounting knowledge in ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805 and related complex scenarios (revenue recognition, lease accounting, M&A accounting)
• Strong internal controls and compliance expertise; able to design and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
• Expertise in ERP and General Ledger systems (SAP, Oracle, or People Soft preferred); proficiency in reconciliation software and SEC reporting tools like Wdesk is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay may be modified based on factors such as education, certifications, experience, seniority, performance, and business needs.
