Senior Industrial Hygienist

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Industrial Hygienist for our Morristown, NJ office.

• Carry out a broad range of industrial hygiene assessments, including air monitoring for chemical exposures, noise evaluations, and indoor air quality (IAQ) testing.
• Develop and implement EHS/IH programs such as written plans, employee training, and emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear and detailed reports summarizing methods, results, and recommendations for both clients and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct site audits, safety inspections, and process reviews to identify potential risks before they become issues.
• Oversee and support remediation and abatement projects involving asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials.
• Assist with proposal development and cost estimates to support new project opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of professional industrial hygiene or EHS experience, ideally in consulting or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards as well as NJ, NYS and NYC EHS requirements.
• Strong writing ability, effective verbal communication, solid data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites within the NJ and PA region.
• Ability to perform fieldwork that includes walking for extended periods, working in various site conditions, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, preferred.
• CIH, CSP or CHMM certification or eligibility.
