A regional consulting firm in New Jersey is seeking a Director to support complex environmental projects.

• Interpret engineering, geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from contaminated sites to evaluate and design remediation systems.
• Direct and implement soil, groundwater, sediment, air, and soil vapor sample collection programs.
• Manage projects, including technical data review, proposal preparation, and staff mentoring.
• Oversee Health & Safety preparation, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and client invoicing per company standards.
• Utilize new technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and achieve project objectives, including electronic field data collection, management, and reporting.
• Coordinate quality control for data collection, perform data analysis, and prepare client-ready reports for review.
• Assist in creating proposals and cost estimates, along with marketing activities.
• Support the development of junior staff and collaborate with senior management for growth as a consultant and leader.

• Candidates should have a relevant degree, 10+ years of consulting experience, and knowledge of NJDEP regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong understanding of the NJDEP’s Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment program rules, regulations, and guidance.
• Professional certification(s) preferred (PG/CPG /LSRP).
• Experience managing field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ability to support the technical growth of project/staff level professionals based on direct hands-on interactions.
