** About the job:
**** The purpose of this role:*
* · Be an Account to Report partner to the local business and provide value add services to key stakeholders through proximity, knowledge of local business, culture and language
· Jointly with the Hub Shared Services Centers, deliver end to end services
· Facilitate resolution of operational issues in an effective and timely manner
· Support operational KPIs and compliance with Opella policies and guidelines
· Perform monthly Internal Controls
· Participate in global projects as required
· Apply continuous improvement mindset#

* Main Responsibilities:

*** # Perform and review general ledger accounting activities for U.S. and Canadian entities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
* Support and participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financials are accurate.
* Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple legal entities.
* Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.
* Assist with internal and external audit as needed.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
* Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies and support compliance efforts.
* Demonstrated ability to embrace digital tools.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/S4

Hana)
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience with Blackline or other reconciliation tools is a plus.
** Interpersonal

*** Strong customer orientation with ability to understand and meet their requirements
* Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
* Team player, cooperating with direct and remote teams with an end-to-end service delivery mindset

* About You:

*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a shared services or multinational environment.
* Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
* Public Accounting/Big-4 Accounting experience a plus
