DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Same Day Surgery#Nurse under the supervision of the Same Day Surgery#Manager is responsible for the nursing care of Same Day Surgery#patients assigned to him/her, and to direct others in patient care. # QUALIFICATIONS # Professional/Educational Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current Illinois license with biennial renewal. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Advanced Life Support (ACLS) preferred. BSN preferred. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. # Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy and honesty. Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. Possesses the ability to work under pressure. Is able to work flexible hours as the schedule varies. # Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.#
