Ryder System, Inc. is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Forklift Operator in Morris, Illinois. The role includes operating a sit‑down forklift to load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and cycle‑count food products in a safe supply chain environment.

Hourly Pay: $21.75 per hour with a shift differential of $2.00 for 2nd shift (Tuesday – Friday 5 pm‑3:30 am).

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• ≥ 1 year of related warehouse or powered‑industrial‑truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License, certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment
• Dependable and punctual, with a good attendance record
• High level of accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Ensure accurate picking and packing; audit totes, stage products, load & unload trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours
• Maintain performance measurement guidelines and complete assignments as required
