Job Code: XKAP (Maintenance and Technical Instructor) – Expected salary range: $105,300 to $117,000.
Job Code: XKAV (Sr Maintenance and Technical Instructor) – Expected salary range: $121,500 to $135,000.

Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge to carry out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant‑specific maintenance and technical training programs.

• Drive the Clean Energy Center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through training.
• Develop, schedule, coordinate, and conduct performance‑based maintenance or technical training programs as required by the user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model.
• Prepare trainee examinations and conduct trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments.
• Conduct counseling sessions for trainees, evaluate the results, and recommend individualized training programs.
• Participate in CEC support activities (outage support, root‑cause support, line assessment support).
• Ensure training programs are current and incorporate information from INPO, NERs, NRC bulletins, CEC design changes, procedure revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
• Support CEC and fleet in business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
• Supervise the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports.
• Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits and prepare responses to audit findings.
• Maintain knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques.
• Perform other job assignments as directed by management, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support of outage activities outside the department.

• High‑school diploma or GED with 3 years of nuclear technical discipline experience.
• OR 5 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience.
• OR Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., chemistry, engineering, health physics, mathematics, physics) with 2 years of related technical discipline experience or 4 years of related instruction experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
• For Sr M&T Instructor – High‑school diploma or GED with 5 years of nuclear technical background or 7 years of related instruction experience, or Associate’s degree with 3 years of nuclear technical background or 5 years of instruction experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of instruction experience.
• 2 years of training or education experience.

• Previous experience in delivering training.
• Knowledge of and experience with the systematic approach to training (SAT).
• Foreman/lead or supervisory experience (for Sr M&T Instructor).
