Our Automation & Digitalization division is currently seeking Electrical & Controls Technicians in the Morrilton, AR area. This position would be responsible for the supporting the mills electrical and control systems as well as assisting in design, development, and delivery of high quality, innovative electrical and control engineering projects that improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades;
- Support and troubleshoot industrial MV and LV electrical power systems, motor control and grounding systems;
- Support and troubleshoot protection and control systems;
- Complete electrical control and instrumentation system design including P&, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems;
- Support, troubleshoot and program and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications;
- Perform system checkout, testing, and commissioning;
- Assist in design, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation.

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
- Electrical Technical degree, Electrician or similar
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy industrial environments ;
- Experience in pulp & paper an asset;
- Resourceful, self-managed, and goal driven but still able to work effectively in a team;
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (English);
- Practical knowledge of North American standards;
- Legally entitled to work in the USA;
- Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%).
- Foxboro DCS programming and/or configuration experience
