We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work for our NHS client based in Morpeth, Northumberland. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, suitable for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality patient care on the General Adult Psychiatry Ward
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Maintaining compliance with all legal obligations under the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice
  • Assessing patients under the MHA and making recommendations
  • Acting as Responsible Clinician (RC)
  • Possessing Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Full GMC license to practice
    • Section 12 approval
    • Approved Clinician (AC) status
    • Previous experience in a similar role
