Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Support initiatives within the Research and Development Chemistry laboratory.
* Operating laboratory equipment including but not limited to analytical balance, pH meter, dissolution apparatus, and UV spectrophotometers under the direction of a supervisor.
* Prepare solutions (i.e. buffers, mobile phases, diluents) and samples are per procedures.
* Calculate raw data by calculator or computer.
* Assist in the calibration and record keeping of laboratory equipment.
* Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory.
* Assist the stability management team as needed.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
* The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a science based degree program, Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred.  A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
* Must possess basic knowledge of chemistry.
* Must be able to work with complex laboratory equipment, chemicals, and fragile glassware.
* Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.
* Must possess basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this position is:
If pursuing Bachelor’s degree = $20.00/hour; if pursuing Master’s degree = $25.00/hour; if pursuing Doctorate Degree = $30.00/hour.
