Honor Vet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Shift: Alternating 3x12‑hour shifts (Days and Nights, Weekdays & Weekends). Rotating blocks of night shifts and day shifts based on facility needs.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑acuity nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Manage direct fresh open‑heart admissions from the OR.
- Perform advanced hemodynamic and pressure monitoring.
- Manage and interpret Swan‑Ganz catheter data.
- Monitor and manage Impella devices.
- Provide care for patients receiving CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy).
- Perform ACT (Activated Clotting Time) monitoring.
- Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio (based on acuity; may include step‑down overflow patients).
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience.
- Strong cardiac surgery experience.
- Must have direct fresh open‑heart admission experience from OR.
- Experience with Swan‑Ganz management.
- Experience with Impella monitoring.
- Experience with CRRT.
- ACT (Activated Clotting Time) experience required.
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIH (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR.
- Experience handling step‑down level overflow patients.
- Travel experience preferred but not required.
