Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: February 23, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3x12 or 4x12 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

Highlights:

• 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry capabilities
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–7
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR system:
  Cerner
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact state; pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (required), NIHSS (required) – BLS and ACLS must be through American Heart Association
• Experience with telemetry, remote monitoring, feeding tube care, hemodialysis management, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and other advanced medical/surgical skills
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from facility (75–100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references within the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
