Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: February 23, 2026

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, either 3x12 or 4x12 schedule; includes weekends (3 per 4-week scheduling period)

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment with possible extension on a 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry capabilities
• Patient ratio of 1:5–7, caring for adults with a variety of acute medical conditions
• Electronic medical record system:
  Cerner
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 12 hours of orientation provided; collaborative team environment with strong leadership presence
• Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) via American Heart Association
• Experience with telemetry, pre/post cardiac care, feeding tube management, surgical drains, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Strong attendance record required
