Position: RN – Vascular Surgery Unit: 2SE Heart and Vascular Institute Submission Requirements:
Only 1 submission per candidate across the WVU system at a time Driver’s license must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous permanent WVU candidates: must be gone 2 years Previous travelers at WVU: must be gone 1 full year Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email Maximum 2 candidates per opening; additional submissions held until a spot opens Individual unit requirements listed in Pulse must be followed Experience
Required:
Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular Surgery experience required CT Surgery experience required Vascular Surgery procedures:
Peripheral artery bypass AAA repair (open & endovascular / EVAR, TAG) Carotid endarterectomies Fistula creation & dialysis access management Amputations Endovascular surgery (EVAR, TCAR) Thoracic surgery procedures: robotic, endoscopic, open Lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy, POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport, EGD, GI/respiratory stents Cardiac surgery procedures: CABG, valve repair/replacement (open & robotic), ECMO, transplant
Experience with sedation preferred Knowledge of open vascular and endovascular procedures required RN must be able to circulate and sedate Diploma copy required for POC license; email directly to manager upon receipt Shift & Call Requirements:
Call:
Required 1 night/week 1 weekend/month Response time: 30 minutes Housing available while on call Holiday call:
