Night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (19::30), including weekdays and weekends (3 shifts per 4-week schedule).

Job Description

The Med Surg RN will be part of a dynamic 34-bed med/surg unit with telemetry, providing exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. Collaborating closely with a dedicated team of nursing professionals, the RN will help maintain high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients within the med/surg unit.

• Utilize telemetry monitoring for patient assessment.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

• Facilitate daily huddles and manage patient flow.

• Supervise clinical assistants and patient care technicians, ensuring adherence to protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.

• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact License accepted (pending license allowed).

Certifications:

BCLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred.

• Telemetry experience required with understanding of dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.
