We are seeking an experienced Traffic Team Leader/Project Manager to guide our Traffic Team in Morgantown, WV. In this role, you will provide leadership both in-person and virtually, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and professional growth. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful project execution, optimizing resources, and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Team Development: Coach, lead, and inspire team members to reinforce a culture of ownership, engagement, and professional growth
- Project & Resource Management: Drive superior project execution, cross-service collaboration, and workload prioritization while monitoring project budgets and utilization
- Client Relations: Support efforts to maintain long-term client partnerships by delivering high-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction
- Strategic
Collaboration:
Work with peers, Group Managers, and Service Group team members to drive budget management, technical direction, and operational efficiency
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of West Virginia, Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification preferred
- 8+ years of technical competency and project experience to include projects such as:
- Traffic Impact Studies
- Traffic signalization
- Corridor traffic signal optimization
- Pavement Design Markings
- Intersection improvement studies/ design
- Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and detour plans
- Accessible curb ramp design
- Familiarity with WVDOH Traffic Design Directives, MUTCD, AASHTO, and PENNDOT Standards
- Experience with roadway design software such as Open Roads Designer (preferred), Micro Station, or Civil 3D
- Familiarity with travel demand modeling concepts including knowledge of traffic analysis software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM) is desirable.
- Minimum 4+ years of project management experience is preferred
- Ability to provide timely project deliverables
- Develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction
- Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
- Valid U.S. Driver's License is required
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
