Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hour shifts with weekend day positions Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Weekend night positions include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

• Night shift weekdays require every other weekend or 3 weekend shifts per schedule

• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for floor patients on a 20-bed neuroscience unit (14 floor beds)

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (must be in hand at time of submission), ACLS preferred

• Must have strong neuroscience experience and proficiency with G-tubes

• Recent EPIC charting system experience required

• Care for patients with neurosciences conditions, DBS (Deep Brain Stimulators), stroke, seizures, surgical/post-op spines, and neurological disorders

• Unit includes telemetry monitoring with monitor techs reading strips

• May float to other units including 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E as needed

• Work holiday rotation as required

• Dress code requires any combination of white and royal blue scrubs

• One shift unit-specific orientation provided

• Maximum 2 shift cancellations per 13-week contract

• BSN degree not required

• Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
