Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Weekend position covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

• Work in a 29-bed flex unit serving both floor and step-down patients

• Handle nurse-to-patient ratios of 3:1 for step-down patients or 6:1 for med-surg patients

• Care for diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses

• Must have Epic experience - required

• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbital, ketamine, morphine/dilaudid/fentanyl PCAs, and TPN

• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and ventilators

• Remote telemetry surveillance center available - RNs not expected to read their own strips

• First to float or be pulled to other floor/step-down units

• Expected to work approximately half of all recognized holidays

• No call or standby requirements

• Dress code requires any combination of royal blue and white scrubs

• Required certification: BLS (AHA)

• BSN not required

• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment, 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks

The facility maintains 24/7 charge RNs and house supervisors, utilizes Phillips telemetry monitoring equipment, and operates a remote telemetry surveillance center. The healthcare organization supports clinical associates to assist nursing staff and provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services for complex patient care needs.
