Neuro MedSurg - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program:
Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Neuro Med Surg

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

Required Skills/Experience: - Need to have overall strong Neuro experience.

- Proficiency and frequency with G-tubes.

Required Credentials: - Any background hits need to be disclosed at time of submission.

- References:
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Shift & Scheduling: - 36 or 48s - Weekend Days:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday - Holiday Requirement Yes - travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Possibly to 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E first priority. Then offered to the rest of the hospital if needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
