Civil Engineer – Bridgeport or Morgantown, WV

Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC (D&H) is currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing engineering design team in either our Bridgeport or Morgantown, WV. The qualified individual will work within the design team on a wide range of civil engineering projects.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist in development of engineering plan sets.
• Assist in developing construction specifications, quantities and cost estimates.
• Aid in creating scope of work documents and project schedules.
• Attend and actively participate in project meetings.
• Work collaboratively as part of a design team to meet the client’s scope, budget and schedule.
• Perform various engineering calculations and draft reports.
• Perform field measurements and inspections and draft reports.
• Willingness to learn new design software as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Up to two years’ of engineering experience.
• Experience with the following software(s):
  • AutoCAD
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Revit
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Micro Station is a plus.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) is a plus.
