Job Summary

Driller position for Expand Energy's field operations team located in one of the following states:
Ohio, West Virginia, or Louisiana.

Expand Energy is seeking a Driller to operate and repair drilling equipment, provide guidance to work crews, and lead operations to ensure safety and adherence to procedures. The Driller reports to the Rig Operations Superintendent.

• Operates and repairs drilling equipment and provides guidance to the work crew
• Provides guidance and training for rigging up and rigging down
• Provides guidance for day-to-day operations
• Trains personnel on company policies and procedures
• Leads operations to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and established procedures
• Operates the rig hoisting system from the control panel; raises and lowers drilling tubulars using the hoisting system
• Directly supervises three to five employees and indirectly supervises five to eight personnel

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long and/or irregular hours, weekends and holidays
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, chemical and caustic materials, high pressure, and moving parts as part of normal duties
• Ability to push, lift, pull or carry equipment up to 100 lbs
• Physical ability to respond to emergency situations

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Three (3) years of experience in drilling procedures
• Health, Safety and Environment Orientation;
  Rig Specific Start Up Training;
  Well Control Certification;
  Supervisor Level;
  Drilling Only;
  Horizontal and Extended Reach Drilling (HERDIT)

• Clean driving record
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• On-call 24 hours a day when needed
• Must pass pre-employment requirements including physical demands, vision, drug screening, and background/driving record checks
