Overview
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology seek a Malignant Hematologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, West Virginia, with potential assignments to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania depending on operational needs. Travel would be anticipated to fulfill duties at these sites.
Responsibilities- Practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology.
- Provide excellent patient care and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license.
- Completed Internal Medicine Residency program and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program.
- Board certified or eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
The WVU Cancer Institute at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center in Morgantown is expanding its malignant hematology and transplant/cellular therapy services. The position offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team focused on diagnosis and treatment of leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and related disorders, with access to autologous and allogeneic transplant, CAR-T therapy, and clinical trials. The successful candidate will contribute to academic, clinical, and translational initiatives in a nationally recognized cancer center and help shape program growth.
