Physician - Cardiac Electrophysiology

Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek an Electrophysiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, West Virginia.

• Practice in the area of electrophysiology.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completed internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and electrophysiology fellowship.
• Board certified or eligible in electrophysiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Practice in Morgantown, West Virginia. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may be assigned to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with travel anticipated to fulfill duties at these sites.

The WVU Heart & Vascular Institute is part of the WVU Health System, which comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states, five institutes, and management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements.
