Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Morganton, NC.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• A clean driving record and a personal vehicle; travel within the area 25-50% of the day
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong technical aptitude: using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; scanners; enter orders into WMS System
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors
• Flexible schedule across shifts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; team player in diverse environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with good attendance record
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• High degree of initiative; accurate work even under pressure
• Must have a valid Driver's License and meet Ryder's driving qualifications
• Perform duties independently with minimal supervision

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Responsible for accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, loading/unloading of trucks
• Complete day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of contract
• Perform other duties as assigned
