OVERVIEW
The Yield Technician will perform unbiased product quality yield testing in designated processing areas to ensure Case Farms’ statement of Quality. This position will help ensure all products produced meet or exceed all customer, regulatory and company requirements by performing unbiased product quality yield testing, keeping accurate and legible record of all testing completed, ensuring product safety and sanitary conditions are always maintained in the processing areas and handling live birds humanely and according to the company’s Animal Welfare Policy.

- Handle live birds humanely and according to the company’s Animal Welfare Policy.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Perform unbiased product quality yield testing in assigned area.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Excellent attendance record/4 points or less.
- Be willing to cross train and learn all tasks in department.
- Perform basic mathematics. Be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively with other hourly employees and plant management.

- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 db.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
- Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs. repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing or pulling 40 to 70 lbs.
- Exposure to dust, feathers and chemicals used in poultry processing facility.
- Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to work with tools, like scissors, knives and/or power tools for the duration of the shift. Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through production environment.
