Overview

Your Role in Our Mission:
As a Therapist on our ACT Team, your days will be filled with deeply impactful, community-based work. You’ll support adults with severe and persistent mental health needs by providing therapy directly where they live and thrive: in their homes, neighborhoods, and preferred community settings. You’ll play a key part in a multidisciplinary team that brings treatment, stability, and hope to those who need it most.

What You’ll Experience

  • Community Impact:
    Provide therapy and support in real-world settings, helping clients regain independence and stability.
  • Collaborative Care:
    Work daily with psychiatrists, nurses, co-occurring disorder specialists, peer support specialists, and other behavioral health professionals.
  • Advocacy & Integrity:
    Champion client choice and dignity while ensuring trauma-informed, person-centered care.
  • Professional Growth:
    Receive up to $65/week toward licensure supervision, plus ongoing training, mentorship, and career development.
Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $52,000 to $65,000 (equivalent to $25.00–$31.25/hour), based on licensure & experience

What You’ll Do
  • Provide individual and group therapy to 4–5 adult clients per day in the community
  • Create individualized treatment plans aligned with ACT best practices
  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate with families, community partners, and referring agencies
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in Welligent EMR
  • Participate in the rotating on-call crisis schedule as part of ACT model fidelity
  • Uphold ethical standards, trauma-informed care principles, and client-centered practice
What We’re Looking For
  • Licensure: LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LMFT/A (provisional or full NC licensure required)
  • Experience:

    Community-based work preferred; must be comfortable meeting clients where they are
  • Requirements:
    Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and passion for serving vulnerable adults
