Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in accounting, experience supporting with fixed assets, lease accounting, and tax, and enjoy working in a team environment.

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset ledger
  , including additions, disposals, depreciation, and impairments
• Track and analyze capital expenditures in collaboration with operational and project teams
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare, review, and file sales and use tax returns and related compliance filings
• Assist with other tax compliance activities
  , including property tax, business licenses, and regulatory filings
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors; support audit requests as needed
• Ensure accounting records comply with GAAP and internal policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement related to fixed assets and tax reporting
• Assist with ad hoc accounting and financial analysis projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a staff or senior or tax accountant
• Hands-on experience with fixed assets and depreciation accounting
• Direct experience with sales and use tax compliance
• Working knowledge of general tax compliance concepts in a corporate or public accounting setting
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency with Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
