Lead Maintenance Engineer

Salary:
To £50,000 basic + £5900 Call Out + Overtime

Hours:

42.5 hrs/week, Mon-Fri + 1-in-4 call-out rota

Temp - Perm role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to manage and lead all engineering and maintenance activities at a busy Waste to Energy site in Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and safe systems of work
Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems (including CHP engines, pumps and feedstock equipment)
Manage the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme
Minimise downtime through effective fault diagnosis
Supervise technicians and contractors
Act as technical lead for plant upgrades and improvements
Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota About You

Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (ONC, C&G, HNC)
Min 3 years' hands-on engineering experience in an industrial environment

Experience of mechanical and electrical systems
Working knowledge of pneumatic systems, pumps, hydraulics, heating systems
Confident leader with strong problem-solving skills
AD or renewable energy experience desirable
