• Starting salary of $37.00 with shift differential $2.00 per hour
• Tool allowance worth $1,100 per year
• Boot allowance worth an additional $350 per year

• Monday – Friday every week
• 6:00pm – 3:00am
• Occasional Weekends
• Repair / maintenance shop at Moreno Valley, CA hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Required to exert physical effort that will include but not be limited to frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing;
Constantly standing, walking, and grasping;
Occasionally sitting and balancing.

Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc. often.

This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
