Job Overview

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) and help create a welcoming experience for our guests. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and supporting store operations.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store open hours.
• Support guest services such as order pick-up, Drive-up, and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties.

• Communicate effectively, including using positive language and being attentive to guests' needs.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while multi-tasking.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
