Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2309) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engaging with guests to solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote and assist with Target Loyalty programs, benefits, and services; assist with enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices; minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features and offerings within the Target App (including Wallet); assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
• Handle returns following store policies; collaborate with Leaders as needed to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Work in a safe manner, comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders and DU returns; ensure compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws) as required.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

• Accurate checkout operations, transactions, and support for cash office when needed.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; physical capability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance; mobility for the duration of shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including during Drive-Up and carryout activities.
