Senior In-House Litigation Attorney
Epic is looking for exceptional attorneys to join our legal team. This position is based at our campus in Madison, WI and requires relocation, for which we provide financial assistance.
As a Senior In-House Litigation Attorney, you will manage complex litigation and provide counseling on regulatory, competition, healthcare law and other areas of potential risk. You will assist in handling and winning multi‑million dollar disputes, minimize risk through proactive counseling, and represent the company in high‑stakes legal proceedings. You will also forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks in the US and abroad.
Responsibilities- Oversee complex litigation, including filing, discovery, motions, briefs and trials.
- Provide risk‑mitigation counseling and proactive strategy across regulatory, competition, healthcare and other relevant areas.
- Represent Epic in high‑stakes proceedings and negotiate settlements.
- Coordinate with vendors, industry partners and internal stakeholders to ensure global compliance.
- JD with substantial experience in litigation counsel, including drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments and leading settlement negotiations.
- Strong academic and professional background.
- Experience in competition and regulatory litigation is a plus.
