Overview
Located in Moreno Valley, CA, this full-time contract opportunity offers Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) the chance to work within a K-12 school setting for the full school year. The role focuses on providing critical speech and language services to support the academic and social development of school-aged children.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language objectives
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, counselors, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support
- Communicate and engage families to foster involvement in the therapeutic process
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California required
