Position Overview
Deliver essential mental health support to K-12 students across various school sites through individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and focused check-ins.
- Implement proactive early intervention strategies and universal supports to create positive school climates, promoting resilience and pro-social behaviors among students.
- Lead the integration of sustainable, culturally competent, and developmentally appropriate mental health and suicide prevention/post-vention programs across the school site.
- Partner with educators and administrators to streamline the student referral process, identify students in emotional distress or in need of services, and refer students to appropriate school-based and community-based mental health services and crisis supports.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License (Required)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
- Highly Preferred:
Bilingual (Spanish) LMFT or LCSW to meet the diverse needs of the community.
