Amusement; Arcade Associate

Overview

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Arcade Department.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is preferred.

• Engage customers to determine whether their needs are met during assigned shifts.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
• Keep games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers.
• Respond responsively and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Answer phone calls for general inquiries.
• Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

• Conduct alcohol and age restriction control according to policies.
• Conduct lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seek constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways in department work processes.
• Comply with and maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

• 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment preferred.

• Employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have high mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods without breaks during busy times; hands/fingers required to handle, feel, and reach with arms.
• May lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• 1 hour to play (non-prize) arcade games per week.
• 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
• 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
• 50% discount on food items per working shift.
• 1 complimentary beverage per working shift.
