The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the general appearance and maintaining a safe external environment for hospital properties.

• Ensures the organization’s systematic, ongoing cleanliness.
• Maintains and cares for the grounds to create a safe and attractive outdoor environment.
• Rotates as assigned to assist with a specific activity or a particular person in accomplishing maintenance or materials responsibilities.
• Ensures proper maintenance and safe access to outside grounds.

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Experience as groundskeeper or custodian preferred.

Valid Kentucky Driver’s License required.
