Overview

Appalachian Center for Assistive Technology (ACAT) at UK St. Claire in Morehead, KY – Allied Health. Part Time, Days, TBD. Posted 01/22/2026. Req # 5319.

• Coordinates the Assistive Technology Loan locker and durable medical equipment (DME) refurbishing and reutilization programs. Serves as the primary contact between Appalachian Center for Assistive Technology (ACAT) and UK St. Claire. Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure patients/clients are provided with the appropriate assistive technology and/or DME. Maintains accurate documentation of all assistive technology and DME evaluations and loans. Works closely with ACAT-Hazard personnel.
• Oversee the assistive technology loan locker at this site.
• Oversee the durable medical equipment (DME) refurbishing and reutilization program for this site.
• Serve as the primary contact with UK St. Claire healthcare system.
• Attend regional health fairs to promote center activities as needed.
• Enter AT and DME loan information into the AT4
  
  ALL database.
• Designs, educates, and facilitates clinical process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain routine communication with the ACAT personnel in Hazard.
• Maintain device quality database and manage staff and program operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in health or related field. Degree from an accredited program in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language pathology.

• 2-3 years’ experience as a rehabilitation therapist.

• Licensed rehabilitation therapist (e.g. physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech and language pathologist).
