The HME Service Technician is responsible for delivery/pickup, set up, demonstration, and maintenance of oxygen and home medical equipment.

• Makes oxygen/equipment pickup/deliveries to patient’s homes.
• Reports concerns or need for return visit appropriately.
• Performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair of equipment in the home per protocols.
• Picks up equipment in need of repair for evaluation.
• Assists with inventory control of supplies and equipment.
• Demonstrates patient/caregiver use of oxygen/equipment per physician orders.
• Completes daily schedule/assignment sheet.
• Completes required documentation timely.
• Performs simple maintenance on vehicles as needed.
• Performs home safety assessment with equipment set-up.
• Assists in cleaning equipment according to established guidelines.
• Performs on-call duties during weekends and holidays.

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Durable medical equipment experience preferred.

Valid Kentucky Driver’s License required.
