This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Morehead, KY for an Inpatient Pharmacist. The Inpatient Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medication, verifying prescriptions, ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care, and providing guidance to healthcare professionals and patients. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patient medication therapies, collaborating with medical teams, and performing tasks such as compounding medications when required.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, and Pharmaceutical Care
- Strong knowledge and skills in Medicine related to pharmaceutical applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky or eligibility for licensure
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) degree or equivalent qualification - Prior experience in an inpatient or hospital setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to patient care
