Job Summary
The America Reads Tutor will work with elementary school children in K-5 to tutor in reading and comprehension. The America Reads Tutor will work with Rodburn Elementary school staff to identify at risk students and administer tutoring as needed. Working hours for the position will be within operating hours at Rodburn Elementary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The America Reads Tutor will coordinate schedule with Rodburn Elementary school staff.
America Reads Tutor will keep track of and submit hours via self service portal on the 15th and 30th each month.
Communicate schedule and any absences with RSVP Project Director and Rodburn Elementary liaison.

Minimum Requirements
America Reads Tutor is a federal work study position. The America Reads Tutor must be currently enrolled at Morehead State University and receive a federal work study financial award.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Experience working with children in a public-school environment.
Knowledge of tutoring in reading comprehension
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Working Conditions
Will work in a public school setting. The position will require working with K-5 students, Rodburn Elementary School Staff, and MSU staff.
