- Perform the patient care aspects of diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath/EP lab procedures. Prepping and recovering patients pre/post cath.
- Perform moderate sedation and record vital signs. Maintain continuity of care for patients in the cardiac cath lab. Prepare charts for procedures.
- Operate point-of-care (POC) testing as required.
- The Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse must remain calm and effective in critical situations, foster collaboration and respect, and maintain a positive approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Must take emergency call with a 30 minute response time.
- Graduate from an approved School of Professional Nursing. Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and two (2) years’ experience as a Critical Care Nurse preferred
- Maintain current BLS certification. ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintain current
- The Registered Nurse must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on this unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs, providing care as described in department policies and procedures
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds Carolina East's Standards of Excellence.
- This position would be 4 days a week requiring 10 hour shifts.
- Sign on bonus of $20,000.00 for qualified, full-time candidates
- Relocation up to $7,000.00 for full-time candidates per HR guidelines
