21CS is looking for college interns studying for a BA or BS with a focus on Technical Communication, or other related studies. The goal of this internship program is to explore ways to apply AI to improve the quality and usability of our documentation and prepare it for optimum AI interaction with customers. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of technical writing and a desire to explore the application of AI in this field.

21CS internships are tailored to our needs as a company while aiming to match the candidate’s interests. A successful candidate will need to work out of our Morehead City, NC office from 6/1/2026 to 7/31/2026.

• Ability to write and edit technical documentation, preferably applied to IT
• Practice developing and refining prompts to AI and using the output
• A passion for technical communication

• Interest in exploring AI methods and opportunities as applied to technical communication
• Some exposure to programming
• The ability to gather information from a variety of sources, including by working with colleagues
