- Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart.
- Prepare patients for examination.
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization, as required.
- Meet position requirements and perform essential functions.
- Complete all mandatory training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate commitment to superior customer experience with a service-oriented attitude.
- Collaborate with others to coordinate care, resolve concerns, and address the needs of patients, family members, physicians and employees.
- Consider patient and employee safety.
- Takes initiative to identify and eliminate risks.
- Respects and considers patient rights to privacy and complies with all HIPAA guidelines for maintaining confidentiality.
- Communicate professionally and appropriately at all times.
- Builds strong working relationships with co-workers and other staff while recognizing individual talents and perspectives.
- Identify, analyze and solve problems.
- Accept responsibility for decisions and actions.
- Utilize appropriate resources to effectively and successfully execute responsibilities.
- Adhere to regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical coursework in a continuing education setting preferred.
- Experience in a pediatric medical practice preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer applications; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Ability to speak, read and write effectively.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines, in a detail-oriented manner.

- May at times work under stressful situations.
