We have an opportunity for a
** Production Technician
** to join our
** Moorpark, CA
** team. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products by performing line assembly operations to produce and assemble through Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.
** You will:
*** Be responsible for correctly, documenting and handling of parts.
* Flexibility to rotate on the line.
* Be packing small components and packaging operations.
* Must be capable of performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department.
* Must be able to use fine hand manipulation.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Key

Qualifications:

*** High School Degree or Equivalent Preferred.
* Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
* Previous experience in production and/or assembly position.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to create a highly effective team environment.
* Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other power hand tools.
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
* Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
* Steel-toed footwear is required.
** Shift:**
* ** 1st shift, 4am start time** (working 10-12 hour shifts)
* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
* In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.
** Compensation:
** The hourly pay for this role is **$19.65/hour.
** Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
