Overview
As a GMP Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for conducting sanitation duties and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve maintaining sanitation standards by monitoring water temperatures and soap concentrations. You will also be tasked with cleaning equipment and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Conduct sanitation duties in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Check water temperature and soap concentrations to maintain sanitation standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and areas as required.
- Disassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
- Document sanitation processes and maintain quality documentation.
- Handle tasks related to food manufacturing and cosmetics sanitation.
- Perform manual dexterity tasks as needed.
- Experience in sanitization, SIP, and CIP processes.
- Knowledge of GMP and batch record maintenance.
- Ability to handle out of specification (OOS) situations.
- Experience in food manufacturing or cosmetics environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with process vessels, transfer pumps, scales, and water meters.
- Experience in handling forklifts.
- Strong documentation and quality assurance skills.
This position is within a cosmetics manufacturing environment with approximately 250 employees on the production floor. The role requires working a 2nd shift from 12:00pm to 8:30pm, following a three-week training period on the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm. Mandatory Saturday work may be required. The dress code and specific details about the environment will be discussed during the interview process.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
