We have an opportunity for a
** Quality Technician I
** to join our
** Moorpark, CA
** team.  You will perform quality-related activities in support of operations.
** You will:
*** Ensure compliance to product through Out of Box Audits.
* Conduct failure analysis of product returns and line rejects.
* Initiate and close Product Non-conformance Reports (PNRs), including management of non-conforming product inventory.
* Create and modify Critical to Quality (CTQ) documents.
* Update and post First Pass Yield (FPY) spreadsheets and Pareto charts, including submission of monthly reports.
* Understand and apply basic metrology techniques using hand tools, gages and fixtures.
* Perform inspection activities on parts/components manufactured by internal and/or external suppliers.
* Update Cell Countermeasure boards for quality-related items.

Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent
* Bilingual in English/Spanish
* Three years related manufacturing experience
* Two years as a Quality Technician or equivalent is a plus
* Able to apply basic metrology methodologies, including the use of hand tools, gages and fixtures
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, a plus
* Familiar with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T), a plus
* Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) a plus
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
* Steel-toed footwear is required.
** Compensation:
*** The hourly pay for this role is **$25.00/hour.
** Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

* Overtime and weekends as needed.
