Loan Specialist - Entry Level

Home Loan Specialist I is an entry level role supporting various channels. The individual acts as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.

• Perform routine data entry and validation tasks.
• Initiate third‑party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood certificate, credit, etc.).
• Review and validate loan documents.
• Handle routine calls, emails, and/or chat responses.
• Assign and distribute workloads.
• Monitor work queues and intervene as needed.
• Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Customer service, data entry, mortgage, loans.

• Team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proven track record of delivering timely and accurate information in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem‑solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment.
• Effective time management skills to deliver work on time.
• Capable communicator, written and oral.
• Proficiency with computers and mainstream applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.).
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred.
• General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations; candidates with little to no experience are considered, especially recent college graduates.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience if no degree.

Entry Level

Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.

Pay range: $23.00 – $23.00/hr.
