Eventide on Eighth Care Center is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part‑time position. The role requires a 12‑hour day shift (6:30 am‑7:00 pm) with rotations that include every third weekend and holiday. The schedule averages 60 hours per pay period. A Charge Nurse assignment is available.
Job DetailsThe position is for a Part‑Time RN. Eventide will cover the initial cost of the Border State/Endorsement license to transfer from North Dakota.
$2 per hour weekend shift differential added to base wage.

Ideal Candidate- Must have an active MN RN license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
- Experience in long‑term care preferred, but not required.
Job Duties
- Assess residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
- Provide individual attention to encourage each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
- Observe and follow residents’ plans of care, updating and making appropriate changes when necessary. Plans include interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and C.N.A/NA‑R care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor effectiveness.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents as needed and in accordance with established nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and CMS.
- Accurately document in residents’ electronic medical records according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist in orientation and training of new team members.
- Report resident needs, problems, and observations regarding residents’ condition(s) to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and correct inadequate staffing appropriately.
- Monitor the activities and functions of subordinate staff, including participation in the disciplinary process.
- Ensure that work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established resident care policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide information, education, and support for assigned residents and their families.
- Communicate the needs of residents to resident care staff in the unit as appropriate.
- Interact with physicians and other health‑care facilities as needed, according to residents’ needs.
- Continuously update nursing skills and knowledge by attending in‑services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
- Coordinate and participate in resident care conferences and communicate information effectively to families.
- Assume responsibility for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
- Be accountable for managing electronic timecards daily.
- Occasionally carry out or assist with other tasks beyond the duties listed, in alignment with Eventide’s commitment to quality resident care.
Competitive estimated pay range of $36 – $39.24 per hour for RNs based on qualifications, experience, and location.
Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
