Description
Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead, MN is currently hiring for Full‑time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to work the Evening PM shift (2:30 pm - 11 pm). This position includes an every‑other weekend and holiday rotation with 64 – 72 hours per pay period, and operates on a set two‑week schedule.
We offer a competitive base wage of $22.00–$23.98 per hour, plus $2 evening/overnight shift differential and an additional $2 weekend differential. Ideal Candidate- Requires a current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Provide individualized attention to encourage each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
- Carry and follow the assigned resident care plan at all times.
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range‑of‑motion, etc., as indicated on the resident care plan.
- Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each resident in the delivery of services and interact with residents with warmth and compassion.
- Follow policies and procedures in regard to safety of the residents, others, property, and yourself.
- Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
- Fully understand all aspects of residents’ rights, including the right to be free of restraints, abuse, and neglect. Promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents’ rights per policy.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
- Promptly answer residents’ call lights and alarms.
- Perform tasks such as checking vital signs, residents’ weights, applying lotions, etc.
- Lift, move, and transport residents using gait belts, one‑person transfer, two‑person transfer, Hoyer lift, standing lift, etc., as identified by the care plan.
- Assist and escort residents to appointments and activities, as needed.
- Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
- Follow proper safety and infection control procedures by washing hands, using gloves, disposing of soiled materials, etc.
- Assist with resident personal laundry as needed.
The estimated hourly pay range is $22.00–$23.98, based on qualifications, experience, and location, with shift premiums and differentials available for select positions. In addition to the base wage, the position includes overnight shift and weekend differentials.
