Salary Range
: $18.00 - $19.93 per hour

Are you ready to bring your skills to the forefront of our production process? D&M Industries is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Production Worker to join our dynamic team in Moorhead, MN. As a vital member of our production team, you'll play a key role in machining and assembling entire products, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in every task.

• Prepare and stage materials for interior door assembly, ensuring accuracy and readiness for production.
• Measure, cut, and assemble components according to specifications to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect materials for defects or inconsistencies before sending to the production line.
• Maintain organized workstations and material storage areas to support efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with foreman and production team to prioritize tasks and meet daily production schedules.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and maintain compliance.
• Assist with inventory checks and report material shortages or quality issues promptly.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for material preparation tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve prep processes.

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly line role, preferably in the construction of doors or similar products.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that arise during assembly.
• Attention to detail for inspecting materials and finished doors.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Adaptability to handle different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as measuring tapes, staplers, nailers, drills, as well as machinery related to door manufacturing.

• Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequently lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs., and occasionally team lift up to 100 lbs.
• Using hands and arms to operate machinery, handle tools, and perform assembly tasks.
• Performing close vision, peripheral vision, and color vision tasks to inspect materials and components for quality.
